FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Bristol City Ability FC DemonstrationAshton Gate Stadium6th September 2002Bristol City Ability Football Club will be giving a demonstration and having a collection at Ashton Gate Stadium on 6th September during the Bristol City v Northampton Town match. Bristol City Ability Football Club, Bristol City’s very own multidisabled club, resumes it’s season at Clifton College Sports Centre in the National Multidisabled Football League. Last season the senior side finished fourth in the Premier League and narrowly missed out on a semi final cup place following a narrow 2-1 exit in a replay against Chelsea Disabled FC. The success of the club has encouraged other clubs to develop in the Gloucestershire and Somerset area for both disabled children and adults supported by a new charity Ability Sports Association. The support from both Bristol City FC and it’s supporters is much appreciated in order to ensure we can meet the ever increasing costs of participating in a national league.
